My consulting service is aimed at assisting you to develop these plans or validate an existing approach; embed performance management and measurement; and deliver a clear path to success.

My service includes personal discussions to help understand your needs; the development of a shared set of goals; a comprehensive report that includes a project plan with timelines and milestones; suggested performance approaches; and a cost/benefit analysis.

Sometimes its hard to see the wood for the trees and over the years, I've seen a lot of trees! Developing a strategic business plan, or reviewing an existing one, is a crucial element of good corporate governance. It will help your Board understand where the organisation is headed and give invaluable context to reports concerning current business activity. It will also significantly inform decision-making around financial, operational and people choices to keep you on track to deliver and grow.

With over a decade as one of the UK's most senior public sector leaders, I have successfully developed and delivered excellent services in high-risk environments. I have led the inspection of police services in Scotland and been the Chair of Performance Management for policing in England and Wales. I have been the employer representative on one of the few remaining national collective bargaining arrangements, the Police Staff Council and the Scheme Manager representative on the largest Joint Police Pension Board.

In addition, I have developed my breadth and depth of professional competence through the Institute of Directors and as a Chartered Director.
